Moroccan Lamb Stew

 

 

Ingredients

 

* 1-1/2 lbs. lamb stew meat

* 1 onion, chopped

* 1 celery stalk, sliced thinly

* 1 clove garlic, pressed

* 1 can diced tomatoes (19 oz. can)

* 1/3 cup chicken broth

* 1/3 cup raisins

* 2 Tablespoons tomato paste

* 1/4 teasoon turmeric

* 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

* 1/4 teaspoon pepper

 

 

PREPARATION:

Combine all the ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on High 4-5 hours; low 8-10 hours.

 

To serve: Serve with couscous.
